Dare to dream program is a nine month, elementary school based program that boosts self-esteem in children by providing access to positive role models. Dare to dream uses interactive math and science curriculums to get students thinking about their furues and exploring the exciting possibilities. The interactive curriculum is comprised of three modules which focus on self- improvement, community service, and goal setting/career planning. Ten (10) elementary schools from two (2) houston area independent school districts participated in the 2016 dare to dream program, representing over 234 elementary students, 11 volunteer probation officers, 13 fbi special agents, and 15 college students. The dream tour is a motivational series that encourages middle school students to both find and achieve their potential by encouraging them to go to college and study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as a way to fulfill their dreams. The dream tour encourages communities to demand access to strong science and mathematics programs in their schools. Innovative medical missions is an initiative of the harris foundation that promotes the innovative use of medical technologies in support of philanthropic healthcare missions worldwide.
