General explanation attachment

The Association did not file the correct request for extension because it did not receive a paper copy of the letter of determination that it had qualified for tax exempt status until it was too late to do so. However since prior to that time it was filing Form 1120 it did in fact file a tax extension to September 15th for that return. According to the letter of determination received, the association is required to file a Form 990. We are requesting waivers or abatement of any late filing penalties due to the late receipt of the Letter of Determination.

We are requesting waivers or abatement of any late filing penalties due to the late receipt of the Letter of Determination.
