OFTEN THE CLINICAL TESTING OF NEW DEVICES SUCH AS HEART PUMPS TAKES MANY YEARS EVEN WHEN A DEVICE IS APPROVED BY THE UNITED STATES FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION. THE "RESEARCH" DOES NOT END. THIA PERSONNEL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE PERFORMANCE OF APPROVED DEVICES AND REPORT FINDINGS IN PUBLIC LITERATURE, AS WELL AS HELP TRAIN MEDICAL STAFF FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD IN THIS WAY.
