Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The primary mission of the spring volunteer fire department is to provide a wide range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of all who live, visit, work or invest in the spring, texas area from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature.

To aid, promote, and provide for the establishment of systems and facilities for the preservation of life and the protection of property from or during fires or other emergencies that may occur from time to time within the prescribed boundaries of montgomery county emergency services district no. 7, and to assist similar organizations in neighboring communties upon request.

The association consists of the members of the spring volunteer fire department.

Four of the members of the board of directors are elected by the membership of the association, two at each annual meeting for staggered terms of two years. Two members of the board of directors are appointed by the executive board and my be changed at the discretion of the fire chief/ceo at any time. Any vacancy in the board, other than from the expiration of a term of office, shall be filled by appointment by the remaining members of the board.
