Follows the guidance under fasb asc topic no. 740, income taxes, which prescribes a comprehensive model for the financial statement recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in income tax returns. Management believes that it has not taken a tax position that, if challenged, would have a material effect on hope farm inc.'s financial statements. Hope farm, inc. Files form 990 in the united states federal jurisdiction and as of august 31, 2016, hope farm, inc.'s tax returns related to the years ended august 31, 2014 through 2016 remain open to possible examination by the internal revenue service; however no tax returns are currently under examination.
