MISSION & PURPOSEIn recent years, there has been a sharp increase in the number of homeless families with children.The number of homeless families with children has increased 36 percent since 2010 as reported by the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance. On any given night in Dallas County alone, more than 1,100 children fall asleep in homeless and domestic violence shelters. Of the homeless children, 67 percent are under the age of nine and 29 percent are infants and toddlers under the age of three years. In 2012, 42 percent of the service agencies surveyed reported that they had to turn away homeless children because they were operating in capacity.Since 1989, Hope Supply Co. has been dedicated to helping homeless children with time, money, and in-kind donations. We are the only agency that actively solicits donations and funds for the sole purpose of providing critically needed items to homeless children, from birth to age 17. Partnered with over 80 homeless service agencies and touched the lives of nearly 93,000 children across north texas. In 2020, hope supply co. Received and distributed many item to homeless infants and children at more than 80 different agencies which included an estimated 5,348,180 worth of in-kind items. We provided 3,200,000 diapers or training pants - that is, 61,000 diapers or training pants per week. We also supplied hygiene items,infant items, food items such as bread loaves, snacks, etc,educational items such as filled backpacks, school supplies, and uniforms,toys,birthday boxes, baby gear, baby supplies and wipes, and health aids, clothing, and household items to homeless children. Hope supply co. Addresses the immediate needs of the many children struggling to survive and overcome the most difficult of circumstances during their most precious years. Our goal is to meet the needs of these children so that they may become healthy and productive citizens in our community.”

ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT IN DALLAS COUNTY ALONE, MORE THAN 1,100 CHILDREN FALL ASLEEP IN HOMELESS AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS. OF THE HOMELESS CHILDREN, 67 PERCENT ARE UNDER THE AGE OF NINE AND 29 PERCENT ARE INFANTS AND TODDLERS UNDER THE AGE OF THREE YEARS. IN 2012, 42 PERCENT OF THE SERVICE AGENCIES SURVEYED REPORTED THAT THEY HAD TO TURN AWAY HOMELESS CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY WERE OPERATING IN CAPACITY. SINCE 1989, HOPE SUPPLY CO. HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO HELPING HOMELESS CHILDREN WITH TIME, MONEY, AND IN-KIND DONATIONS.
