Integrative Touch (InTouch) has a long history of providing transformative treatments to kids, families, caregivers, and others in search of healing. Weve provided such care through our healing retreats, virtually through our telehealth programs, and in hospital and clinical settings through community partners such as Banner Hospital. Now, all InTouch programming is under one roof, and is able to help more people than ever before. PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: InTouch provides treatments, services and classes at the Healing Center located in Tucson, Arizona. A variety of online classes, personalized treatments and workshops are open to people around the world. The Healing Center uses a Heal it Forward model where individuals who can afford to pay for their services offset free or low cost services for those in need. PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: InTouch continues to expand its programs even further, by adding Telehealth programs that reach children, caregivers, families, and healthcare providers internationally. This program has provided more than 5000 hours of service since the COVID Pandemic began and allowed us to reach adults & children in their homes and in the hospital when we were not able to be in person to protect their health and safety. The TeleFriend program is an opportunity for a child who has any type of health or medical needs to develop a friendship with a team of one adult and one young person. TeleFriend Teams meet over Zoom to talk, play games, interact, enjoy wellness activities, read stories and spend time together. PROGRAMS: Compassion Camps Adult & junior volunteers play key roles, gaining understanding & compassion for families with medical needs. At the Compassion Camps, kids of all abilities find a unique mix of therapeutic support & sheer fun. There are dozens of integrative healing therapies offered, including Acupressure, Healing Touch, Gentle Massage , Meditation, Yoga Therapy, Animal Therapy, Music, & Art Therapies. InTouch collaborates with the Childrens Clinics on our camps. This clinic is designed for low-income children with highly complex medical conditions to assist in comfort & pain management. PROGRAMS:Healing CirclesHealing Circles are circles of 5-25 healers that take place at the new Integrative Touch Healing Center & off site at community partner spaces. During each Healing Circle, adults & children are invited to experience a variety of integrative therapies. Adult & youth volunteers offer supervised wellness, sound healing, play, and craft activities, while parents can attend support groups. PROGRAMS: Workplace WellnessInTouchs Workplace Wellness events are a powerful example of the Whole Community wellness model that InTouch has pioneered. During Workplace Wellnes events, employees, such as frontline healthcare providers, experience a wide range of healing modalities and wellness workshops, while connecting with others facing similar challenges. TeleWellness is also offered non locally as part of our Workplace Wellness program. Program Service Accomplishments: InTouch relies on integrative therapies such as bodywork, acupuncture, sound healing, energy therapies, play, art, group classes, & movement therapies like Yoga, Tai Chi, & Qi Gong. However, our premier treatment is Integrative TouchTM therapy (ITT), a revolutionary therapy pioneered by our founder, Shay Beider, after working with kids with special medical needs for over 20 years. ITT is a practice in personalized medicine where therapists engage in a conversation with a patient, both verbally & nonverbally, in order to help them identify & transform their own place of greatest suffering, improving patient outcomes & supporting long-term healing.
