Mission

Marathon education partners believes that higher education is life-changing and should be accessible to all those who aspire. We believe that personal, long-term relationships have the ability to transform the lives of both our scholars and our partners.

Major Activities

Activity 2
Enrichment activities: marathon education partners organized two community events for scholars designed to increase awareness about higher education opportunities. The events provided an opportunity for scholars to meet with their partners.think tank, our summer enrichment program, exposed scholars to careers in veterinary medicine, retail and marketing, television journalism, science and technology, and sports management.

PARTNERS PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SCHOLARS AS THEY WORK TOWARD COMPLETING HIGH SCHOOL, FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO HELP FINANCE A SCHOLAR'S HIGHER EDUCATION. 100% OF MARATHONS HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES HAVE EITHER COMPLETED THEIR HIGHER EDUCATION GOALS OR ON TRACK TO DO SO. 90% ARE ENROLLED IN COLLEGE, 5% HAVE COMPLETED AND 5% ARE SERVING IN THE U.S. MILITARY.IN 2012, A TOTAL OF 90 SCHOLARS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM AND SCHOLARSHIP CHECKS TOTALING OVER $40,000 WERE DISBURSED.
