The seton cove is a non-profit, interfaith center for spirituality, named for st. Elizabeth ann seton, the american foundress of the daughters of charity. Rooted in judeo-christian values and founded on the principles of st. Vincent de paul which finds god in the ordinary events of everyday life. The center reaches out to the poor in spirit and those seeking to enrich their relationship with god, others and self.its mission is to provide a welcoming place of solace and hospitality where people of any faith may nourish and foster their spiritual growth and journey towards wholeness.the center offers a holistic approach to life, which integrates spiritual and human development through programs designed to honor the dignity of every person and to reflect the connections between spirituality and the human experience.
To improve the health and well-being of all people in the communities we serve.

“On June 30, 2020, the Board of the filing entity approved and adopted the following changes to their bylaws: The organization is organized and at all times shall be operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and-to carry out the purposes of Ascension Sponsor and such other of its subsidiary organizations that qualify under Section 501(c}(3) and under section 509(a)(1) or Section 509(a)(2) of the Code, by and through Ascension and Ascension Healthcare. The Board shall consist of such members not fewer than five (5) or more than eleven (11) in number as shall from time to time be fixed by resolution of the Member. Unless otherwise determined by Ascension Healthcare, the president of the corporation shall serve as ex officio Board member with vote. The corporate member has the power to decide the following matters: The appointment and removal of members to the board of the corporation; the appointment and removal of the chair of the board of the corporation; The annual performance assessment of the Board of the corporation; and the appointment, removal and performance evaluations of the corporation's president. Ascension shall have the power to decide the incurrence of debt by the corporation. Ascension Healthcare shall have the power to decide the following matters: changes to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws of the corporation where such changes are not consistent with system policy; the formation of a corporation subsidiary; and major transactions involving the corporation or any corporation subsidiary. The board of the corporation shall consist of the following officer positions: A Chair, who shall preside over all meetings of the Board. A president, who shall be the chief executive officer of the corporation and shall have all the duties and authorities assigned to that position. He or she shall have authority to affix the Seal of the corporation to all instruments where its use is required by statute, by law or by resolution. The chair of the corporation, shall each remain in office for a term which ordinarily shall consist of two (2) years for the Chair and (1) year for the Secretary and Treasurer. Board members may not establish a quorum by proxy. Our mission is to serve the common good by cultivating leadership and living that flows from the power of one's inner life, enabling well-being of mind, body and spirit, and awakening the deep source of wholeness, empathy, connection, and creativity in the human spirit, and cultivating the leadership potential in each person to promote innovation, radical collaboration and transformative action. Seton Cove programs, which since 1998 have offered a holistic approach to life that integrates spiritual and human development through programs designed to honor the dignity of every person and to reflect the connections between spirituality and the human experience, continue through Mandorla along with five additional projects that each provide additional programs of spirituality and spiritually centered leadership development to different audiences. As Mandorla Fund for the Common Good, the Seton Cove 501c3 functions as a Foundation to assure that the programs, experiences and resources of Mandorla are sustained and can reach individuals and not-for-profit organizations who would otherwise not be able to pay for them. As part of the Ascension Catholic health ministry, the filing organization served in support of Ascension's commitment to both care for patients and communities and support caregivers and other associates through the challenges of the COVID-19 global pandemic in FY20 and FY21. |
