“The organization consists of active and honorary members. Active membership consists of all parents or guardians of band students currently enrolled in the band programs at the round rock high school and all feeder middle schools. Active membership has the right to vote on all matters at regular meetings and has the exclusive right to hold office. Honorary membership consists of persons who have contributed or wish to contribute to the objectives of the organization and have no voting rights.”

“The executive committee appoints the nominating committe who, in turn, prepares a list of nominees for each elected office. The active membership votes for the officers from the nominee list.”

“Actions taken at the exeutive board and general memebership meetings are subject to review and revocation by the round rock high school principal or round rock high school appointed sponsor.”

“The form 990 is reviewed by the financial manager and treasurer with the preparing cpa. Upon final approval by the board, the form 990 is filed with the irs.”

“The finance manager reviews all deposits and expenditures monthly not only for accuracy but also for conflicts of interest. Also, the balance sheet, income statement, and budget reports are sent to the board monthly as a part of the monthly treasurer's report.”

“The organization's governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements are available to the public on the organization's website and upon request.”
