Mission
To provide quality services and products to the residents and businesses of our community in such a way as to maximize the affordability of safe and decent housing, especially for the low income; and to serve as a vehicle and assist in any way possible, through networking and/or forming of partnerships with other non-profits, for-profits, and governmental entities, for the purpose of encouraging community development, economic growth, and general improvement to the standard of living for all the residents of the areas served by the brazos valley affordable housing corporation.
Major Activities

- Owns and operates a forty unit multi-family rental housing property with land use restriction agreement (lura) requiring a minimum of 50% of the units to be rented at reduced rental rates, set by u.s. Dept of housing and urban development, to assure affordability to low and very low income households. Owns and operates what was a blighted commercial property providing a one stop shop for governmental and social service providers serving same target population of socioeconomically disadvantaged households in acquiring housing assistance, job training and placement, child care services, child support, and help with substance abuse, as well as various other forms of assistance.
