Mission

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home school places of worship and throughout the community to raise the standards of home life to advocate for laws that further the education physical and mental health welfare and safety of children and to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in education of children

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
School Improvements, Teaching Aides, and Sponsored Programs - We support the students with items that improve the school physically; including playground equipment, subscriptions for students and teachers, music instruments, classroom supplies, furniture for classrooms and many other items to improve the learning atmosphere for the students. We also schedule and host educational sponsored programs to support the continue academic learning and personal growth for each student. Our school has over 800 students and about 80 staff members for fiscal calendar year 2023-2024.$0$44,462
PTA host, organizes, and supplies volunteers for multiple types of celebrations throughout the year. Winter Wonderland is a special event we host every year to celebrate the Christmas spirit and holiday. We decorate the entry to the school and have two gyms full of fun events, games, and bounce houses. We provide a snack and craft for all 800+ students and support our volunteers with a lunch provided. We celebrate Valentine's Day with snacks for every student. We provided a fun filled End of Year Carnival that included games, water bounce houses, a foam pit, firetruck/firemen sprays, Kona snowcones and other fun activities for all students. We also donated towards the 5th grade End of Year party with lunch, drinks, desserts, decorations, and other supplies for the 5th grade class.$0$15,395

This is $2000 for two grants we give to high school students who attended the elementary school, ($1000 each) for participation in a written essay for a scholarship.

Many of our expenses for the BBES PTA is to use our fundraisers to provide programs, events and purchases to enhance the school and support for the staff. Our biggest expenses included $44,461.55 for School Improvements and Teaching Aides, $8,848.49 for Sponsored Programs, $10,050.26 for Staff Appreciation and Events, $15,541.92 for Celebrations (Winter Wonderland, Valentine's Day, Boo Hoo Breakfast, End of Year Carnival, and End of Year Grad Party). We spent $7582.86 for our Fundraisers and most of the other expenses were for small events at the school and some PTA maintenance and management expenses. The total is $90,600 for all expenses as our fiscal year ended with an account balance at $34,197.88.

Our biggest expenses included $44,461.55 for School Improvements and Teaching Aides, $8,848.49 for Sponsored Programs, $10,050.26 for Staff Appreciation and Events, $15,541.92 for Celebrations (Winter Wonderland, Valentine's Day, Boo Hoo Breakfast, End of Year Carnival, and End of Year Grad Party). We spent $7582.86 for our Fundraisers and most of the other expenses were for small events at the school and some PTA maintenance and management expenses. The total is $90,600 for all expenses as our fiscal year ended with an account balance at $34,197.88.
