“Piaz has 4 classes of membership under which a company or an individual may join: regular members are those who have production equipment and manufacture or are involved in the manufacture of the final printed product. Associate members are those companies or persons who provide support services to our regular members. Examples of those would be ink or paper companies. Educational members are those members who are teachers or work in an institution that provides training in graphic arts. Finally, honorary members are those who have been in service to the organization for untold hours and are goodwill ambassadors for the good of the organization.”

“The governing board is elected by general ballot with each member company having one vote. This ballot is generally mailed to the key contact at each company and returned to the organization via mail or fax. In certain situations, the bylaws permit appointments by the chairman and approval of actions via e-mail.”
