Section 1.263(A)-1(F) De Minimis Safe Harbor Election

San antonio aids foundation 818 e. Grayson san antonio, tx 78208 employer identification number: 74-2427853 for the year ending december 31, 2020 san antonio aids foundation is making the de minimis safe harbor election under reg. Sec. 1.263 a)-1(f).

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The san antonio aids foundation [the foundation] has adopted investment and spending policies for endowment assets that attempt to subject the endowment fund to low investment risk and provide its webb party and hot meals program with current income. Endowment assets are invested in equity securities and cash. To satisfy its long-term rate-of-return objectives, the endowment fund relies on a total return strategy in which investment returns are achieved through capital appreciation (realized and unrealized) and current yield (interest and dividends). The foundation has a policy of appropriating for distribution each year the endowment fund's investment income from the year that is not perpetually restricted, and the foundation generally expends the endowment fund's investment income in the fiscal year. The current spending policy is not expected to allow the foundation's endowment fund to grow as a result of investment returns. This is consistent with the foundation's objectives to provide income for its webb party and hot meals program, preserve endowment assets without subjecting them to substantial risk, and provide additional real growth through new gifts.
