Activity 2

Stanley offers year long internships and course work to college graduates seeking to deepen their knowledge of teaching and the british primary approach. Interns work full-time in the classroom alongside experienced stanley mentors. Each year, over thirty interns are placed in stanley's private and public classrooms. As a designated agency of colorado's alternative teacher licensure program, stanley recommends its graduated interns for the certification they need to teach in colorado public schools. Additionally, stanley, in partnership with the university of colorado at denver, has developed a master's degree option for its interns, through which they receive graduate credits for their internship experience and course work. There were 47 teachers enrolled in this program for the 2012 - 2013 school year.

Activity 3

Stanley offers a nurturing environment of before and after-school care for enrolled students. Extended day and enrichment are an extension of its challenging, experiential learning program. There were approximately 200 students enrolled in this program for the 2012-2013 school year. In addition, stanley offers a summer camp experience for enrolled students and the greater community for seven weeks each summer. The "summer at stanley" program is designated to reflect stanley's educational values, vision, and commitment. Programs range from academic to recreational and are designed for specific child development levels. There were 800 students enrolled in this program for the 2012 - 2013 school year.
