THE DISASTER RESILIENCE NETWORK (DRN) PROMOTES ITS MISSION THROUGH A VARIETY OF COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS OF PUBLIC OUTREACH COORDINATED BY OUR PAID STAFF, WITH LEADERSHIP FROM VOLUNTEERS AND THE INVOLVEMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL PARTNERS. WE HAVE THREE CORE PROGRAMS, EACH LED BY A MULTI- SECTOR COUNCIL. -ONE DRN PROGRAM IS THE DISASTER RESILIENT CROSS-CULTURAL COUNCIL. A GRASSROOTS NETWORK OF MULTICULTURAL AND MULTILINGUAL GROUPS, THE CROSS- CULTURAL COUNCIL WORKS WITH THESE MANY COMMUNITIES TO HELP THEIR MEMBERS PREPARE FOR DISASTERS, AND TO HELP ALL PEOPLE RECEIVE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS IN A WAY THEY CAN UNDERSTAND. WE HAVE CONTINUED MONTHLY MEETINGS OF OUR COUNCIL TO COORDINATE ACTIVITIES AMONG THE DIFFERENT CULTURAL COMMUNITIES ON PREPAREDNESS, ATTEMPTING TO DO THIS DURING A COVID OUTBREAK. WE PARTICIPATED IN A VIRTUAL ASIAN AMERICAN FESTIVAL IN JUNE USING OUR "EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: REAL STORIES" VIDEO SERIES ON OUR WEBSITE. IN THESE RECORDINGS, A COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVE PRESENTS EITHER A PERSONAL OR COMMUNAL EXPERIENCE WITH DISASTER IN THE HOME LANGUAGE OF THE TARGET AUDIENCE. WHEN THESE VIDEOS ARE SCREENED AT A COMMUNITY EVENT, A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT, WITH AN INTERPRETER, RESPONDS TO QUESTIONS AND SHARES INFORMATION ON EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS. THESE VIDEOS HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL), ARABIC, BURMESE (ZOMI) ENGLISH, RUSSIAN, SPANISH AND URDU AND HAVE BEEN SHOWN AT LOCAL CHURCHES AND COMMUNITY MEETINGS. Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

This included special presentations arranged with the city of tulsa working in neighborhoods department and in conjunction with the city of tulsa engineering services as a part of the program for public information, referenced below. We also used these videos as part on an online version of the asian american festival held during the pandemic. The videos can be found at https://www.disasterresiliencenetwork.org/crosscultural-council-info. Events we normally did were quickly curtailed by the covid pandemic. Some members did distribute our materials because they were still at events. There were events like the tulsa hba home and outdoor market in september where drccc volunteers worked with the housing council because there was bilingual information. The drccc also began compiling a work on weather folklore from around the world to share beside it weather facts. We also offered online zoom to prepare / disaster preparedness - are you prepared online classes with city of tulsa working in neighborhoods -another drn program is led by our disaster resilient business council. The drbc is a public/private partnership designed to educate businesses and nonprofits about the need for emergency and continuity planning, to offer networking opportunities for those interested in business emergency and continuity planning, and to assist in promoting the critical role of businesses and nonprofits in a community's disaster resiliency. We continued to engage with the tulsa chamber of commerce, the u.s. Army corps of engineers, latino american chamber of commerce, and the community service council to look at broader community wide issues tied to business continuity. We were unable to do a disaster management for long term care facilities workshop this year due to covid. The drbc is listed in the city of tulsa program for public information as assisting with sharing information with businesses on planning for floods and other disasters and we offered a business continuity workshop online in the september 2020. -another drn program is coordinated by the disaster resilient housing council. The housing council is a collaborative venture to help people live safely and in harmony with nature and is particularly focused on stronger building standards and low impact development. It wants to promote a "resilience for all" approach that makes sure everyone has access to resilient homes. A major focus of this year for the housing council, as with previous years, has been the partnership with the insurance institute for business and

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt2THE MISSION AND PURPOSE OF THE DISASTER RESILIENCE NETWORK IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE, BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITIES TO REDUCE THE IMPACT OF DISASTERS.
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt3THE DISASTER RESILIENCE NETWORK (DRN) PROMOTES ITS MISSION THROUGH A VARIETY OF COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS OF PUBLIC OUTREACH COORDINATED BY OUR PAID STAFF, WITH LEADERSHIP FROM VOLUNTEERS AND THE INVOLVEMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL PARTNERS.
