The mission of the commission is to engage oklahomans of all ages and backgrounds in community-based service which addresses oklahoma's educational, public safety, human and environmental needs to achieve direct and demonstrable results. In doing so, the commission will foster civic responsibility and provide educational opportunity for those who make a substantial commitment to service and undertake activities and provide assistance to communities and eligible entities to support national, state and community service programs.
