“In 2024, tulsa global alliance welcomed 309 international professionals and students from over 60 countries through its programs. Our international visitor programs bridge cultures through person-to-person connections, including the international visitor leadership and youth ambassador programs funded by the u.s. State department. Structured schedules enable our visitors to explore their professional or educational roles through meetings with local leaders and organizations, while also allowing them to observe and take part in cultural and social events. These programs give oklahomans numerous opportunities to learn from and about cultures from around the world. Funding that we have received through these programs has had more than 11x the economic return in the tulsa area. We facilitated over 180 professional meetings, 2,100 homestay nights, 1,000 hotel nights, and 80 business internship days. In 2024, we had an $854,000 local economic impact.”

“Global education culture boxes - a community resource administered in partnership with eisenhower international school, and made available to all k-12 schools, colleges, libraries, clubs, and other organizations to create opportunities for greater understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. Student exchanges - tga supports and maintains multiple international exchanges with local public schools by recruiting host families and serving as a co-coordinator and treasurer. World in a box day - in partnership with tulsa city-county library, this is tga's premier program for global education for students, families, and children. On average, this event welcomes over 1,000 people from the tulsa community and represents over 20 countries and cultures. All attendees are given the opportunity to experience and interact with other countries and cultures from around the world. The event is free for all. Global gatherings - in partnership with gathering place, we engaged with an average of over 300 students per week at events throughout the summer. This series culminates in the world festival that welcomes thousands of visitors from our region. These events are free for all. Guest speakers - in partnership with circle cinema, tga helped facilitate special movie screenings, some of which sold-out, that welcomed world-class speakers and authors to educate hundreds of tulsans on global topics.”
