International education activities bridge cultures through education and understanding. Tga offers international business seminars to help local companies learn about doing business in the global marketplace. Tga educates tulsa's youth through hands-on activities such as: culture boxes and student exchanges. Educational tools include a monthly newsletter and the tga website. An annual event invites the public to learn more about foods, music and customs from around the world.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

Tga is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. As such, tga is not required to pay federal income taxes. Tga is required to file annual information tax returns. Tga has implemented the accounting guidance for uncertainty in income taxes using the provisions of financial accounting standards board accounting standards codification (asc) 740, income taxes. Using that guidance, tax positions initially need to be recognized in the financial statements when it is more-likely-than-not the position will be sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities. As of december 31, 2015, tga had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. The federal and state information returns of the organization for 2013 through 2015 are subject to examination by tax authorities, generally for three years after they were filed.
