Form 990, Part III, Line 2: New Services

In June 2020 Miracle Babies began our Special Delivery shuttle service providing home to hospital to home transportation service enabling new parents to be united with their newborn. Miracle Babies works closely with hospital social workers to ensure parents have access to their newborns. Launching transportation during the pandemic we limited service to one hospital to allow for social distancing within the shuttle. In October 2020, Miracle Babies acquired an additional shuttle allowing service to be expanded to additional hospitals.In 2020 we gave 327 total rides and drove 15,478 miles.

IN 2020 MIRACLE BABIES BEGAN HOSTING DIAPER DISTRIBUTIONS THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO COUNTY TO ANY PARENT IN NEED OF DIAPERS. NEARLY 500,000 DIAPERS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO OVER 5,800 PARENTS.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0Transportation Assistance Program - In June 2020 Miracle Babies began our Special Delivery shuttle service providing home to hospital to home transportation service enabling new parents to be united with their newborn. Miracle Babies works closely with hospital social workers to ensure parents have access to their newborns. Launching transportation during the pandemic we limited service to one hospital to allow for social distancing within the shuttle. In October 2020, Miracle Babies acquired an additional shuttle allowing service to be expanded to additional hospitals. 327 total rides were given and 15479 miles were driven in 2020.
