To educate and equip disadvantaged youth with technical training and essential resources, empowering them to become self-reliant and capable of uplifting their families out of poverty. Achievements during the year: b.to provide food, clothing, and healthcare to individuals suffering from extreme hunger and deprivation. Echo helped establish five skill development centers in dhaka, chittagong, rangpur, jessore, and barisal to offer technical training in computer skills, echo launched an entrepreneurial initiative to provide vocational training to a select group of students and, from among them, identify promising candidates to receive seed capital for starting small businesses. The goal is to help these young individuals become self-sufficient and improve the quality of life for their families. These small businesses include poultry farms and neighborhood grocery shops. Echo has been providing stipends to approximately 355 meritorious yet financially disadvantaged students, enabling them to continue their education and pursue careers such as doctors, nurses, engineers, agriculturists, physicists, and chemists. A portion of these stipends has been reserved for students who were injured during the events of july 2024 movement in bangladesh. Echo built three health clinics in chattogram, dhaka, and kushtia, bangladesh, and equipped them with new furniture and essential medical devices. Each clinic has a full-time doctor and a part-time gynecologist to provide patient care. We also offer pathological tests and distribute a limited supply of free medicines. Echo has facilitated cataract surgeries for approximately 155 impoverished individuals who could not afford the procedure on their own. We arranged transportation to bring patients to a nearby hospital, ensured they received the surgery, and provided inpatient care for several days to support their recovery. Echo has built a state-of-the-art orphanage in ashulia, dhaka, bangladesh, providing housing for approximately 65 girls who have lost their mothers. Echo also constructed an l-shaped academic building to ensure these girls receive a proper education. They are cared for as our own children, with full support for their food, clothing, education, and healthcare. The girls are excelling in both national and international examinations and competitions. Additionally, we have established two new computer rooms, fully furnished and equipped with modern computers. Echo has constructed six wash (water, sanitation, and hygiene) unitseach consisting of three toilets and a washroomfor girls schools that previously had no toilet facilities. In addition, echo has installed 22 deep, semi-deep, and shallow tube wells in various communities across bangladesh to improve access to safe water. Echo distributed food packets to impoverished rohingya families during the month of ramadan, as well as to poor communities in lohalia, bangladesh. In addition to these initiatives, echo has launched a new program that provides hot meals to approximately 500 deserving individuals every week in various regions of bangladesh.
