To educate and provide technical training and resources to disdadvantaged youth so that they become self-reliant and can uplift the family out of poverty; achievements during the year:b. To provide starving people with food, clothing and healthcare; echo assisted in setting up four skill development centers in dhaka, chittagong, rangpur and jessore to provide technical training in computer skills, electricl wiring, driving, heating ventillation and air-conditioning, sewing, knitting and embroidery. Out of these four centers, rangpur and jessore have been discontinued effective 2021. We started with a new trade of care giving and experienced a significant interest in this trade. Echo started with an entrepreneurial project to give vocational training to a limited number of students and select a handful of them, provide seed capital and start a small business so that these young people can become self-sufficient and give a better life to their family. This includes poultry farms and other small grocery stores.echo has been giving stipend to ~352 meritorious but very poor young people so that they can continue their education and become doctors, engineers, agriculturists, physicists, and chemists. Echo reserved ~10% of the recipients for the handicapped and blind, and deaf girls and boys.echo built a new health clinic in chattogram, bangladesh and furnished the clinic with new furniture and some health care equipment. We have a full time doctor and a part time gynaecologist to give care to the patients. Next year, we are planning to have a pathology lab equipped with some basic pathological tests.echo has performed the cataract surgery for ~65 poor people who do not have any means to get the surgery done at their own expense. We provided transportation to prospective patients to bring them to a nearby hospital, have the cataract surgery done, and kept them in them in the hospital for a few days for their recovery.echo has constructed a state-of-the-art orphanage in ashulia, dhaka, bangladesh to give housing to ~60 girls whose mother died. Echo has also built a building in l-shaped form to provide education to these girls. These girls are being treated as our own children in terms of food, clothing, education and and health care. The girls are doing great in domestic and international competitive tests and various competition. We constructed two new computer rooms and furnished the rooms with new furniture and computers. Echo build 8 wash (water and sanitation hygiene) units consisting of three toilets and a wash room for the girls of different girls schools where no toilet is available in the school.echo distributed food packets among the poor people of rohingya in the month of ramadan. Echo also distributed food packets among the poor people of lohalia, bangladesh in the month of ramadan. In addition to these projects, echo has started another new program of feeding hot food to ~500 deserving people every other week in different parts of bangladesh. Echo started a new project to help senior living by leasing them with a lemon farm, cultivating lemon trees, and selling them in nearby market thereby helping seniors with their food expenses.echo further distributed food packets and meat packets to the poor people of silicon valley, california, usa. Also, echo provided blankets to the poor people of california, usa during the winter months of 2021.future goals: 1. Echo is dedicated to alleviate poverty in bangladesh and other developing countries. The donation it raises from individuals throughout the silicon valley and the usa funds its charitable and humanitarian projects in bangladesh and other countries of the world.”
