“Other program services 4: the ilp program is a contract with the colusa county department of health and human services to provide services to participants of the independent living program. Services include recruitment of students who can be trained in the computer lab on word processing skills preparing resumes and learning interviewing techniques so that they can apply for and obtain a job. They are also taught banking and other life skills necessary to live on their own.dhhs funds are also used to perform learning disability screenings under the ld program. Other program services 5: the corporation contracts with the dhhs (dept of health and human services) to provide transitional housing to colusa county's homeless population and to provide supportive services in the form of food vouchers and transporation passes. Other program services 6: rmap program - rural micro entrepreneur assistance program funded through usda provides $300,000 for a rural relending program and $75,000 technical assistance to businesses. Other program services 7: the organization makes loans to area businesses under the usda intermediary relending program (irp). Other program services 8: the volunteer income tax assistance (vita) program offers free tax assistance to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited english speaking taxpayers who need help in preparing their own tax returns. Ccp pays qualified volunteers a stipend to perform this service.”
