The executive committee consists of the officers of the board and the executive director (without voting rights). The board chair serves as the executive committee chair. The committee meets once per month, in-between board meetings and assumes the duties and powers as delegated by the full board and as determined in the bylaws.

The board members are the official voting body for the organization. The board can consist of up to 25 members, including the seven members of the executive committee. Every ten years, the property owners, who are assessed through their property tax bill annually to cover the property business improvement district related costs, are able to support/oppose the continuation of the organization through a voting process.

An independent external audit performed for the years 2018 and 2019 provided the power inn alliance with accrual basis financial statements in accordance with gaap. It was decided by by management that a change in acconting method from cash to accrual would best reflect the financial position of the power inn alliance, provide consistency with the audited financial statments, and ensure coherence and transparency for all stakeholders.
