Mission

See schedule oaha serves individuals and families where at least one member of the household is living with hiv/aids. Most of our clients face other persistent issues that include substance abuse, addiction, and/or mental illness. At aha, housing is combined with supportive services such as case management, job training, life skills training, alcohol and drug abuse programs, and other community building programs that help our residents improve their health and participate in the regional economy.

AHA was established in 1993 as a response to critical housing and specialty care needs. AHA serves individuals and families in 31 apartment units at 3 housing sites in Sacramento County. Most of our clients face persistent issues that include substance abuse, addiction, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, low income and chronic homelessness.
