“Since 1989 impact foundry (formerly the nonprofit resource center) has been the centralized, innovative source of information and services dedicated to helping nonprofits succeed across all stages of their organizational life cycle. The impact foundry offers strategies for organizational success in the areas of board development, staff development, community engagement, fundraising, hr and staff management, and volunteer management. Key programs developed and offered by impact foundry staff and faculty members includes: >certified sustainable, a 12-month intensive business training program that focuses on revenue diversification, operational infrastructure, community engagement and board governance. Certified sustainable provides more than 100 hours of instruction and support to nonprofit organizations and year-long access to training and technical assistance. >the cultural intelligence unit, a diverse team of staff and consultants who provide training and planning support to nonprofit organizations and public agencies. The ciu addresses the adverse impacts of systemic racism and the overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination and disadvantage, with a focus on equitably building resilience and opportunity for everyone. >annual what if conference brings together advocates, philanthropists and business supporters to learn and network about the latest trends in nonprofit operations and impact. >we launched a management services division during the pandemic to provide administrative support to nonprofit start-ups, nonprofits experiencing growth without sufficient staffing, nonprofit associations, and boards of directors for organizations going through transitions in key positions. Impact foundry's yearlong programming for fye 6/30/2021 engaged more than 2,500 nonprofit board members, staff and volunteers and totaled more than 25,000 educational contact hours. The covid-19 pandemic forced closure of the impact foundry's public resource center for a period of three months, required the organization to pivot training programs to a virtual environment, and to waive fees for some attendees. As a result, attendance grew year-over-year even where revenue fell. The pandemic called for new training topics that included safety training for the proper re-opening of offices; an emphasis on scenario planning vs strategic planning given the precarious and volatile nature of covid-19's impact on organizational budgets; triage of funding crises - helping nonprofits connect with funders for emergency support - as well as the need to add components to existing training series to consider short-term and long-term impacts of the pandemic. And while covid-19 was devastating on many levels, it also provided opportunities for innovation within our training programs. Cares act funding fueled several small to medium-sized nonprofit arts organizations to go through our sustainability program. All participants prepared strategic plans to better ensure their success getting through and onto the other side of the pandemic. As one program graduate reported: "we can't say enough about the impact foundry and how it empowers nonprofits with knowledge. Being a part of it makes you feel supported and that your work is valuable and needed to affect positive change in the world." - charlie cooper, ceo of images theatre company nonprofit leaders count on impact foundry to be a source for knowledge, problem-solving, and planning for their organizations: "the impact foundry has always provided quality support, training, and workshops to all local nonprofits to make sure we all have the knowledge and capacity to fulfill our mission. As the ceo at big brothers big sisters of the greater sacramento area i have participated in several information workshops (virtual and in-person) led by the impact foundry and look forward to continuing to rely on the great staff there as we move forward." - dimitrius stone, ceo of big brothers big sisters of the greater sacrame”

| IRS990/Desc | 0 | SINCE 1989 IMPACT FOUNDRY (FORMERLY THE NONPROFIT RESOURCE CENTER) HAS BEEN THE CENTRALIZED, INNOVATIVE SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND SERVICES DEDICATED TO HELPING NONPROFITS SUCCEED ACROSS ALL STAGES OF THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL LIFE CYCLE. AS THE CEO AT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN SEVERAL INFORMATION WORKSHOPS (VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON) LED BY THE IMPACT FOUNDRY AND LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING TO RELY ON THE GREAT STAFF THERE AS WE MOVE FORWARD." - DIMITRIUS STONE, CEO OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE GREATER SACRAME |

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | SINCE 1989 IMPACT FOUNDRY (FORMERLY THE NONPROFIT RESOURCE CENTER) HAS BEEN THE CENTRALIZED, INNOVATIVE SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND SERVICES DEDICATED TO HELPING NONPROFITS SUCCEED ACROSS ALL STAGES OF THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL LIFE CYCLE.
