Additional Explanations

General explanation attachment

The Schools Board voted to dissolve as of 6/30/19, as a result of losing its lease. As of that date, operations ceased, physical (mostly depreciated) assets were donated to other nonprofit organizations, and grants were accrued with the plan of dissolving within the next few ensuing months. To that end, a financial statement audit was performed as of 11/30/19. However, a legal issue arose which precluded the Board from completing the dissolution in the planned timeline. This issue was resolved in May 2021, and the Board then proceeded with dissolution activities. Final payments have been accrued, but will all be disbursed later in 2021, after which the final return will be filed.
