Rotary International District 5130's Exempt purpose is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular, to encourage and foster the development of an acquaintance as an opportunity for service, encourage and promote HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS. APPLY THE IDEAL OF SERVICE IN EACH ROTARIANS PERSONAL, BUSINESS, AND COMMUNITY LIFE, AND ADVANCE INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL, AND PEACE THROUGH A WORLD FELLOWSHIP OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL MEN AND WOMEN UNITED IN THE IDEAL OF SERVICE.

To receive the funds, the clubs must submit a final report to the District's Grants Committee that includes a summary of the completed project and receipts for all expenditures. Once the final report is accepted by the Grants Committee, the approved funds are disbursed to the clubs. When all projects are completed and final reports accepted, a final report is submitted to the Rotary Foundation and any unused funds are returned.
