NEW THIS YEAR WAS A KINDERGARTEN PILOT PROGRAM AT SATICOY AND TWO GROUPS IN THE WHITTIER SCHOOL DISTRICT. FOR WHITTIER, ONE GROUP WAS AN IN SCHOOL PROGRAM AND ONE WAS AN AFTER SCHOOL GROUP WHICH INCLUDED STUDENTS FROM FOUR DIFFERENT SCHOOLS. EACH SCHOOL PROGRAM INCLUDED TWO PARENT EDUCATION MEETINGS. Tag provided socialization and self-advocacy training to 8 different groups of 4th/5th graders. 6 groups were in lausd including porter and bancroft middle schools and melrose, farmdale, palms and saticoy elementary schools. New this year was a kindergarten pilot program at saticoy and two groups in the whittier school district. For whittier, one group was an in school program and one was an after school group which included students from four different schools. Each school program included two parent education meetings. Presentations to: cal lutheran university, ag bell conference in los angeles, tween program with (loft) leadership opportunities for teens, quota international conference in oregon,house ear institute family camp.
