Mission and Program Overview

Mission

To teach young people from underserved areas the very valuable skill of focusing and how it impacts every aspect of their lives. Through interactive and humorous exercises, groups are exposed to methods for improving their ability to focus on the task at hand (school work, sports, interpersonal relationships) and how that ability to focus provides opportunity for success. The organization seeks to accomplish its mission by offering free workshops and camp scholarships to underprivileged inner-city, suburban or rural youths. The camp scholarships are offered to school children who work hard and exhibit good character and have a financial need. These exceptional children are rewarded with the opportunity to experience a wonderful summer (and often many summers) of fun and the possibility of great potential for the future.

THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION BY OFFERING FREE WORKSHOPS AND CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED INNER-CITY, SUBURBAN OR RURAL YOUTHS. THE CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OFFERED TO SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO WORK HARD AND EXHIBIT GOOD CHARACTER AND HAVE A FINANCIAL NEED. THESE EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN ARE REWARDED WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE A WONDERFUL SUMMER (AND OFTEN MANY SUMMERS) OF FUN AND THE POSSIBILITY OF GREAT POTENTIAL FOR THE FUTURE.
