“The mission of the museum as stated above on item 1 is to preserve and share the history and culture of the cuban exile community (cuban diaspora) which commenced in 1959 with the exodus of cuban nationals leaving cuba after the communist takeover. This mission includes the preservation of the history and culture in general including the plastic arts, music, literature, sports, etc”

“The purpose of the organization is to preserve and share the cultural heritage of the cuban traditions brought by the cuban diaspora that commenced with the 1959 exodus. Program presented throughout the years have been all related to this mission and will be continued in the same manner. Measurements are realted to participation of the general public. To collect and preserve historical documents, relics, artwork, and other memorabilia inherent to the cuban cultural heritage. To keep the cuban culture alive in freedom in the fields of different cuban cultural heritage, like music, history, literature and fine arts.”
