The mission of florida grand opera is to enrich people's lives through an awareness and deeper appreciation of opera while supporting the operations of the greater miami opera and the opera guild, inc. By expanding its reach to diverse communities throughout miami and fort lauderale and wider audiences abroad creating a cultural destination. To accomplish our mission, we produce world-class opera, we champion new works, we build new audiences, we educate and engage our community, and we nurture the finest opera artists, artisans, and administrators of each generation. By doing so, we strengthen the cultural and economic vitality of the south florida community.
