Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Our mission is to serve as a responsible representative payee/finance management service for individuals receiving ssi/ ssdi/ va/ black lung benefits. As a responsible representative payee, hbe, inc. Manages entitlement funds for indigent clients who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to responsibly manage their own affairs sufficiently to ensure their basic life needs are met on a consistent basis. Our responsibility is to ensure that the recipients of the funds have the costs of their shelter, medical, personal, food, and clothing paid each month. Hbe, inc. Does not commingle the funds we manage. Hbe encourages our clients in developing money management skills. We seek to foster personal responsibility in our clientele in order that they may regain financial self-sufficiency and graduate from our program.
