Mission

It is the mission of the fall branch fire department to protect the lives and property of the people we serve in our community and the surrounding areas to the best of our ability. We are committed to working with the neighboring departments and other agencies to assist them and ask them to assist us in accomplishing our goal to protect and serve.

We are committed to working with the neighboring departments and other agencies to assist them and ask them to assist us in accomplishing our goal to protect and serve.

Volunteer firefighters, and volunteers for fundraising events

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

2019 was a busy year for the fire department, responding to 393 calls. These consisted of 293 medical related calls, 47 auto accidents, 38 structure fires, 11 brush fires, 14 vehicle fires, 29 fire alarms/power pole incidents/investigations and 34 calls assisting other agencies. Other programs that continued to be implemented during the year included, the free smoke dectector program, the annual fire prevention program in area schools. The fire department also continued to host various fundraisers to pay for the operating costs of the fire station. These were breakfast, apple butter sales, and a bbq supper.

OTHER PROGRAMS THAT CONTINUED TO BE IMPLEMENTED DURING THE YEAR INCLUDED, THE FREE SMOKE DECTECTOR PROGRAM, THE ANNUAL FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAM IN AREA SCHOOLS. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ALSO CONTINUED TO HOST VARIOUS FUNDRAISERS TO PAY FOR THE OPERATING COSTS OF THE FIRE STATION. THESE WERE BREAKFAST, APPLE BUTTER SALES, AND A BBQ SUPPER.
