FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

It is the mission of the fall branch fire department to protect the lives and property of the people we serve in our community and the surrounding areas to the best of our ability. Volunteer firefighters, and volunteers for fundraising events

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

2016 was a busy year for the fire department, responding to 479 calls. These consisted of 298 medical related calls, 50 auto accidents, 29 structure fires, 30 brush fires, 8 vehicle fires, 40 fire alarms/ power line investigations and 24 calls assisting other agencies. Other programs that continued to be implemented during the year included, the free smoke dectector program, the annual fire prevention program in area schools. A new vehicle was purchased in 2016 that will allow us to transport personnel to assist other agencies, as well as to other places. The fire department also continued to host various fundraisers to pay for the operating costs of the fire station. These were an annual benefit auction, fireworks sales, a bbq supper, an annual community outreach labor day celebration, and breakfast with santa.
