This fund was created in 2010 to provide $75,000+ annually to pay for mammograms and breast biopsies for the local uninsured, underinsured, and indigent women in rutherford county. The saint thomas rutherford foundation's wine-around-the-square event each september is dedicated to providing much needed funds for power of pink. Per designation the fund is endowed at $75,000.”
