Any questions or comments are documented for review with the board chairman.

Periodic reviews shall, at a minimum, include the following subjects: a. Whether compensation arrangements and benefits are reasonable, based on competent survey information, and the result of arm's length bargaining. B. Whether partnership, joint ventures, and arrangements with management organizations conform to the association's written policies, are properly recorded, reflect reasonable investment or payments for goods and services, further not-for-profit purposes and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or in an excess benefit transaction. The use of an outside consultant may be used if deemed necessary.

The organization has not changed its process from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The association accounts for uncertainties in income tax law under financial accounting standards board (fasb) accounting standards codification (asc) 740-10. Asc 740-10 prescribes a comprehensive model for the financial statement recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in income tax returns. Asc 740-10 requires that the tax effects of a position be recognized only if it is "more-likely-than-not" to be sustained by the taxing authority as of the reporting date. If the tax position is not considered "more-likely-than-not" to be sustained, then no benefits of the position are to be recognized. The association has no unrecognized tax benefits for any of the periods presented. To the extent applicable in the future, interest and penalties related to income tax liabilities will be included in pre-tax income as interest expense and tax penalties. At june 30, 2016, the association's tax returns related to fiscal years ended june 30, 2013 through june 30, 2016 remain open to examination by the tax authorities.

ASC 740-10 REQUIRES THAT THE TAX EFFECTS OF A POSITION BE RECOGNIZED ONLY IF IT IS "MORE-LIKELY-THAN-NOT" TO BE SUSTAINED BY THE TAXING AUTHORITY AS OF THE REPORTING DATE. IF THE TAX POSITION IS NOT CONSIDERED "MORE-LIKELY-THAN-NOT" TO BE SUSTAINED, THEN NO BENEFITS OF THE POSITION ARE TO BE RECOGNIZED.
