Mission

To create a relevant and innovative place for teens to encounter the character of God through experiences in music, media and interconnectivity.

Our mission is to educate students in the cinematic arts, empowering them to contribute to and effect change in a world where moving images have the potential to change lives.

Other programs: Teen Film Challenge (TFC) In its 8th year, the TFC competition empowers youth to collaborate in small groups to create a film in 72 hours. The competition is held annually in August. Typically, 150+ local youth participate in the competition each year. After films are submitted and judged, the Film Premiere is held at a local theatre to celebrate the students achievements. Cinematic Arts School For the 2022-23 school year, we are offering a year-long Film Production course in Liberty Township for a local Home School Program. Workshops In the Fall, we offered three-hour workshops in Screenwriting, Film Production, and Film Appreciation. Session topics included Film Theory, Camera Angles/Movements, Directing Actors, and Editing. Other Programs - After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) - ASEP workshops are designed to deepen students knowledge and understanding of the cinematic arts. ASEP topics include Film Production, Film Studies and more. Each ASEP is 1.25 hours/week for 6 weeks, serving up to 25+ youth a session. In 2023, we offered multiple filmmaking ASEPs at schools for youth in grades 3-8 in the Lakota and Mason School Districts. Cinematic Arts School - We offer year-long Film Production courses for local Home School Programs. Workshops - Fall/Winter/Spring, we offer three-hour workshops in Film Production and Film Appreciation. Part III, Line 28: Golden Lion Awards Student Film Festival (GLASFF) - In its 15th year, the GLASFF is open to Cincinnati and Midwest youth in grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The competition enables student filmmakers to improve skills, learn from industry professionals, and receive recognition for their cinematic artwork. Typically, 300+ student films are submitted each year, and approximately 175 films are accepted, enabling us to serve over 1,100+ youth. The Film Premiere/Awards Ceremony/Dinner is typically held at a local theatre. In 2023, we partnered with Cinedependent Film Festival for a 2-day festival at at Memorial Hall.

Part III Line 29: Summer Camps - In June, we offer 1-week and 2-week summer camps at our studio space in Liberty Township for 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th grade levels, enabling youth to pursue their passion in a fun environment. Camps include Acting for Film, Screenwriting Camps, 1-week film camps, and 2-week film camps.
