Mission

To create a relevant and innovative place for teens to encounter the character of God through experiences in music, media and interconnectivity.

To educate students in the cinematic arts, empowering them to contribute to and effect change in a world where moving images have the potential to change lives.

Golden Lion Awards Student Film Festival (GLASFF)- In its 13th year, the GLASFF is open to youth in grades 3 - 12. The competition enables studentfilmakers to improve skills, learn from industry professionals, and receive recognition for their cinematic artwork. Typically, 300+student films are submitted each year, and approx. 175 films are accepted, enabling us to serve over 1,100+ youth.$0$28,366
Summer Camps - In June, we offer one and two-week summer camps at the 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th grade levels,enabling youthto pursue their passion in a fun environment. 2021 camps included (2) Acting for Film Camps, (2) Screenwriting Camps, (4) one-week Film Camps, and (1) two-week Film Camp for advanced students. Teen Film Challenge (TFC) In its 7th year, the TFC competition empowers youth to collaborate in small groups to create a film in 72 hours. The competition is held annually in August. Typically, 150+ local youth participate in the competition each year. Typically, 300+student films are submitted each year, and approx. 175 films are accepted, enabling us to serve over 1,100+ youth.

ASEP topics include Screenwriting, Acting for Film, Film Production, Film Studies and more. Each ASEP is 1.25 hours/week for 6 weeks, serving up to 25+ youth a session. Director Series The Director Series provides youth with both a social and educational experience to screen films over dinner and learn about directors, movie themes, actors, screenwriters, and more. Each session accommodates up to 30 students. In Fall of 2021, we offered the Finding Faith in Film series, featuring the Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia series. Teen Film Challenge (TFC) In its 7th year, the TFC competition empowers youth to collaborate in small groups to create a film in 72 hours. The competition is held annually in August. Typically, 150+ local youth participate in the competition each year. After films are submitted and judged, the Film Premiere is held at a local theatre to celebrate the students achievements.
