Sterling housing, inc. Is a nonprofit organization that was formed on june 9, 1992 for the purpose to promote the preservation of housing for low and moderate income residents of central appalachia; to provide resources to housing development corporations and organizations to facilitate the provision of housing for low and moderate income residents in central appalachia; to conduct research as related to the production and design of low and moderate income houses in central appalachia; to carry out all other activities related to the civic betterment and social improvement of low and moderate income families in central appalachia.
