“Commerce lexington inc. Is exempt from federal income taxes on related operations pursuant to section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code. However, commerce lexington inc., is subject to income taxes on certain unrelated business income. The business and economic network, is exempt from federal income taxes pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The organization must recognize the tax benefit associated with tax positions taken for tax return purposes when it is more likely than not the position will be sustained. The organization does not believe there are any material uncertain tax positions and, accordingly, it has not recognized any liability for unrecognized tax benefits or possible related interest or penalties. The organization is no longer subject to u.s. Federal income tax examinations by tax authorities for years before 2018.”
