“The governing body consists of the executive board officers and cardinal cabinet directors. The executive board has additional authority over various chapter and member activities.”

“The organization updated its bylaws during 2024-2025. Significant changes are as follows: 1. New transfer/affiliation process: a chi omega who wishes to affiliate with the eta delta chapter must meet with the personnel board, provide a letter of recommendation from her initiating chapter, and complete the official affiliation process through chi omega executive headquarters in accordance with national guidelines. 2. Members who are more than two weeks overdue on payments are no longer automatically asked to resign or required to move out of the house. Instead, the 2024 bylaws state that such members "may be required to resign her membership, subject to the discretion of the housing corporation and personnel board, and that members living in the house may be required to vacate the premises at the discretion of the housing corporation and executive board. 3. New officer added: diversity, inclusion, and belonging (dib) chair now a formal officer on the executive board. 4. Removal of the diversity, equity and inclusion director 5. Additional director duty: risk manage one date function and one social per semester 6. Removal of the following leadership positions: pr chairs (written and aesthetic), photo chairs, event photography chairs, relay for life chair, safe sister chair, mental health chair, mom's/dad's weekend chair. 7. Addition of the following leadership positions: cheerleading chair, foundation ambassador, gratitude chair, safety chair, sustainability chair. 8. New rule on resigned and early alumni members: individuals who have resigned their membership are no longer permitted to attend eta delta events, and members granted early alumni status may attend only as guests of active members. 9. The fines and fees have been revised effective april 2025. The fines and fees structure is now divided into clear categories (standard fines, recruitment fines, housing fees, national fees, and additional fines) for consistency and transparency. 10. New accountability fines: members can now be fined for missing one dib (diversity, inclusion, and belonging) event, one philanthropy event, or one community service event, emphasizing participation in chapter programming.”
