“The executive director e-mails a draft of the complete form 990 to all council members. The council members review the draft and send an acknowledgement to the national office that they have done so.”

“Disclosure for must be filed annually by all specidied parties (specifically the national council) full disclosure must be made by interested parties to the national council in all conflicts of interest enforcement entails exclusion form voting and participation in any discussion or debate of the national council or of any committee thereof, in which the subject of discussion is a contract, transaction or situation in which tere may be a perceived or actual conlfict of interest.”

“The national council approved the annual budget at the annual meeting in june. The executive committee and a senior representative of the national council meet as the personnell committee each spring. The senior representative is elected by the non-officer members of the national council and conducts a survey of the national council members regarding the performance of the exective director. The senior representative summarizes the survey results for the executive committee/personnel committee. The national president presents the evaluation results ot the executive director at the national conucil meeting in june. The national president prepares the continuing letter of employment for the executive director which contains the details of the compensation package and any salary increase.”

“The personnel committee, in conjunction with the executive director, makes salary recommendations to the national council for approval as part of the budget. The executive director prepares continuing letters of employement for the full-time employees. These letters contain the details of the compensation package and any salary increase.”
