Line15a: compensation process for top official - the executive committee of the board, comprised of our officers, utilized the payscale firm in addition to the compensation study conducted by the nonprofit center of northeast florida to generate comparable compensation figures for the position of president & ceo, using parameters that matched that of cathedral arts in terms of location, years of experience, number of employees, budget managed, organization type, typical degree level, signing authority, number supervised and level managed. The board has established a written policy on compensation philosophy for the president & ceo that guides annual decisions around compensation. There was a match count of 65 with a rating of "well matched data." the president & ceo also utilized he payscale firm in addition to the compensation study conducted by the nonprofit center of northeast florida to generate comparable compensation reports for each of the staff positions. The goals of the executive committee were threeforld: 1) to formalize a compensation approach for the president & ceo position inclusive of a base salary derived from a market value analysis; 2) to ensure alignment on the organization's annual goals; and 3) to agree upon a prescribed performance management process for the president & ceo position. The executive committee held four meetings without the president & ceo present; held two meetings with the entire board in executive session whereby staff, including the president & ceo was excused; and held two meetings with the president & ceo. The process included anonymous evaluations by each member of the board of directors which were submitted to the board president, who compiled the results and shared them with the executive commitee who in turn shared the results with the president & ceo. Form 990, part vi, section b, line 15: line 15b: compensation process for officers - the president & ceo also utilized the payscale firm in addition to the compensation study conducted by the nonprofit center of northeast florida to generate comparable compensation reports for each of the staff positions.

IRS990/Desc0THE CATHEDRAL ARTS PROJECT (CAP) IS A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED NONPROFIT PROVIDER OF QUALITY VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS INSTRUCTION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA. OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER EVERY CHILD'S CREATIVE SPIRIT, ELEVATE ARTS EDUCATORS IN THEIR FIELD AND ADVOCATE FOR ACCESS IN ART EDUCATION. OUR VISION IS BOLD: TO MAKE NORTHEAST FLORIDA A NATIONAL EXAMPLE IN PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE AND ESSENTIAL ARTS EDUCATION THAT CELEBRATES EACH CHILD'S UNIQUE TALENTS AND STRENGTHS. FOR TOO MANY CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY, THE ARTS REMAIN OUT OF REACH. EVEN WHEN ARTS PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE, THEY'RE FREQUENTLY LIMITED IN SCOPE AND ACCESSIBILITY, PREVENTING YOUNG PEOPLE FROM FULLY ENGAGING IN THE ARTS AND REALIZING THEIR POTENTIAL.CAP FILLS THIS NEED. WE EXPANDED OUR ENROLLMENTS FROM 1,918 IN THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR TO 3,673 IN 2023-2024. IN 2022-2023, CAP CONDUCTED PROGRAMS IN 47 SITES; TODAY, WE ARE IN OVER 60 SITES ACROSS DUVAL COUNTY AND NORTHEAST FLORIDA, PROVIDING A RANGE OF ARTS PROGRAMS TAILORED TO THE NEEDS OF DIVERSE STUDENT POPULATIONS. THESE INCLUDE MUSIC THERAPY FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES, ARTS PROGRAMMING FOR JUSTICE-INVOLVED YOUTH, SENSORY ARTS FOR EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION STUDENTS, AND CREATIVE ARTS COUNSELING THAT ADDRESSES MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS. CAP STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENTS SPEAK TO THE IMPACT OF THESE PROGRAMS: OUR YOUNG MUSICIANS HAVE WON AWARDS AT THE CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION AND PERFORMED AT VENUES LIKE CARNEGIE HALL AND HARVARD UNIVERSITY, SHOWCASING THE LEVEL OF ARTS EDUCATION THEY RECEIVE.THROUGH THE ARTS, CAP STUDENTS BUILD CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES. THEY DISCOVER WHO THEY ARE ANDJUST AS IMPORTANTLYWHO THEY WANT TO BE.
