The cathedral arts project's mission is to empower every child's creative spirit, elevate arts educators in their field and advocate for access in arts education.

The cathedral arts project's mission is to enrich the quality of life in northeast florida through unleashing the creative spirit of young people. By providing access to instruction in the visual and performing arts, we empower underserved, school-aged children to succed in all areas of their lives.

The executive committee of the board, comprised of our officers, utilized the payscale firm to generate comparable compensation figures for the position of president & ceo, using parameters that matched that of cathedral arts in terms of location, years of experience, number of employees, budget managed, organization type, typical degree level, signing authority, number supervised and level managed. There was a match count of 65 with a rating of "well-matched data." the president and ceo also utilized the payscale firm to generate comparable compensation reports for each of the staff positions. The goals of the executive committee were threeforld: 1) to formalize a compensaition approach for the president & ceo position inclusive of a base salary derived from a market value analysis; 2) to ensure alignment on the organizations annual goals; and 3) to agree upon a prescribed performance management process for the president & ceo position. The executive committee held four meetings without the president & ceo present; held two meetings with the entire board in executive session whereby staff, including the president & ceo was excused; and held two meetings with the president & ceo. The process included anonymous evaluations by each member of the board of directors which were submitted to the board president, who compiled the results and shared them with the executive commitee who in turn shared the results with the president & ceo.

STUDENTS RECEIVED BETWEEN 72 AND 144 HOURS OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING FOR A TOAL OF 84,960 TO 169,920 CONTACT HOURS DEPENDING UPON THE SPECIFIC PROGRAM. OUR SUMMER PROGRAMMING SERVED AN ADDITIONAL 900 STUDENTS FOR A TOTAL OF 2,167 STUDENTS IMPACTED THROUGH 50 YEARLONG PROGRAMS AND 60 SUMMER PROGRAMS.
