Mission

Break Away's mission is to inspire and activate thoughtful community engagement through justice-based trainings and programs.We envision a society of people who prioritize just and equitable community through their values and actions.

To train, assist, and connect campuses and communities in promoting quality alternative break programs that inspire lifelong active citizenship. We also provide membership services to colleges and university campuses; and, provide regional and national training to students and staff; and, provide online resources to support active citizenship.
