Federation gulfstream housing articles of incorporation were changed to delete subsection (d) of article iii in its entirety and substitute the following instead: in the event of dissolution of the corporation or the winding up of its affairs, or other liquidation of its assets, the corporation's assets shall be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future tax code, or shall be distributed to the federal government, or to a state or local government for public purposes. Any such assets not so disposed of shall be disposed of by a court of competent jurisdiction of the county in which the principal office of the corporation is then located, exclusively for such purposes or to such organization or organizations as said court shall determine, which are organized and operated exclusively for such purposes.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The corporation has adopted accounting for uncertainty in income taxes (fasb accounting standards codification (asc) 740, income taxes). It requires that a tax position be recognized or derecognized based on a 'more-likely-than-not' threshold. This applies to positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. The implementation had no impact on the corporation's statement of financial position or statement of activities. The corporation does not believe its financial statements include any uncertain tax positions and that no income taxes are due for its activities. Therefore, no provision for income taxes is included in the financial statements.
