Once the board of directors has completed its review of the form 990, and if requested, a meeting or conference call is scheduled with the preparer of the form 990 to discuss any questions, comments and suggested revisions identified by the board of directors. IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0SUPPORTIVE LIVING IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES LONGER-TERM HOUSING FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. SINGLE SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HAVE NOT HAD A SAFE PLACE TO GO IN OUR THREE-COUNTY AREA. WHETHER THEY ARE YOUNG WOMEN WITHOUT CHILDREN OR OLDER WOMEN WHOSE CHILDREN ARE NO LONGER AT HOME, OFTEN THESE VICTIMS NEED MORE LONG TERM HOUSING THAN THEY WOULD GET IN AN EMERGENCY SHELTER AND MORE OUTREACH ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE THEM TO SECURE JOBS AND HOUSING ON THEIR OWN.
