Riss offers services, tools, and resources to aid law enforcement and criminal justice entities to identiy, disrupt and prevent terrorist and criminal activities, and to promote officer safety. National sex offender registries - 839,465 expenses; 0 revenues - provide support, coordination, and technical assistance for the dru sjodin national sex offender public website, the sex offender registration and notification act exchange portal and the tribe and territory sex offender registry system. Other programs - 1,522,614 expenses; 236,881 revenues - provide support and technical assistance to other criminal justice related programs.

Under the fasb accounting standards codification (asc) 740-10, the difference between the benefit recognized for a portion and the tax benefit claimed on a tax return is referred to as an unrecognized tax bebefit. An entity must recognize the impact of uncertain tax positions in the financial statements if it is more likely than not that a tax position taken for tax return purposes will not be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. The organization has concluded that it has no material uncertain tax positions and accordingly, it has not recognized any liability for unrecognized tax benefits. The organization has filed all required tax returns in all jurisdictions which it operates. Tax years after 2010 remain subject to examination by the applicable taxing authorities.
