The National Labor Relations Board also has rules against union conflicts of interest, such as union ownership of businesses that may compete with employers whose employees the union represents. Bausch & Lomb Optical Co., 108 NLRB 1555 (1954).”

“Upon review of the local union document it was discovered that $-16 difference exist in net assets or fund balances as a result of reclassification of Accounts payable and accrued expenses, Unrestricted net assets, and Temporarily restricted net assets. The amount has been adjusted and reported on the 2016 form 990.”
